Funny thing when the same font family is asked for previously. } chrome is showing all letters in this font, and edge and firefox are showing most letters correct, but not b, d, t, p, r and x. If you use typekit to serve webfonts to your site, this firefox bug can also appear.

So why wasn't the code in my first post working? I do already have a font weight and size applied also set as !important to override any other rules and still nothing. Funny thing when the same font family is asked for previously.

It Appears That A Certain Few Fonts Simply Do Not Work In Firefox.


It depends on the font. When does firefox incorrectly render fonts as bold? 400 will render correctly 👍

I did some tests and i found a fix. Helvetica must not have all of those weights embedded within the font file. Posting to the forum is only allowed for members with active accounts.
